Materials Used On Our Products We have a range of finishes on our products. Please see the images below for examples of these finishes.
This is our usual raw finish on our products, unless another option is available and has been chosen your products will come in this finish. This is raw MDF colour and will contain some burn/scorch marks as outlined on our FAQ page. RAW MDF can be painted to your desired colour if you choose to do so.
MDF is a type of engineered wood. It is available in 3mm or 6mm thickness.
GLITTER COATED- SILVER OR GOLD
Glitter coated is not full coverage of glitter, but rather a subtle shimmer over either a gold, silver or copper base which has been applied to the raw MDF.
A hard plastic-type material that is of colour. This is mostly used for cake toppers. This is 3mm thick. Colour tones of every sheet of acrylic will vary. For example, sometimes we may receive a bright gold mirror and sometimes a dull gold mirror. We cannot control this as it is how it is manufactured and supplied to us.
FRONT COATED COLOUR MDF
Raw MDF has a coloured front coating that cannot peel off. This is raw on the back side and available only in 3mm thickness. They will contain the normal burning/scorching marks on the backs of the products from where the laser cuts the design. Available on certain products only. Available in white, willow, granite, and natural oak. Willow, Ash, granite, and natural oak have a natural grain, marks, patterns and natural knots, and these markings are considered normal. Each of these coatings can be wiped down to remove dust and some forms of markings that are a natural part of the material. You can still expect some scorching marks on these due to the product being laser cut. Colours may vary in real life due to each monitor or device shows colours differently. We will not be responsible for your choice of colour. Ask us if in doubt.
